Joe Walker
Head Coach
Coach Joe Walker founded the Stars National Walker program with a vision of developing elite softball players who excel both on the field and in the classroom. An expert in lock-down defense and game strategy, he works directly with infielders to build fundamentally sound players. His deep understanding of the recruiting landscape prepares athletes for success at the next level.

Adrian Diaz
Outfield Coach
Coach Adrian specializes in outfield development, teaching players to read balls off the bat, take efficient routes, and make accurate throws. His player-first mentality and ability to communicate adjustments help outfielders develop into confident, reliable defenders.

Assistant Coach
Coach Jeremiah focuses on hitting and infield development, with a keen eye for mechanical adjustments that unlock power and consistency at the plate. His positive coaching style and attention to detail help players build confidence and reach their full potential.

Mike Usry
Recruiting Coordinator
Mike played Division I football at Georgia and South Florida, so he knows the recruiting process from the inside — what college coaches are actually evaluating, and what it takes to earn a spot at the next level. As Stars National Walker's recruiting coordinator, that's the work he owns: building each player's target school list, getting her video and profile in front of the right coaches, and managing the outreach and follow-up that turns interest into offers. Mike treats recruiting as the team's responsibility, not something families have to figure out alone. He has helped athletes across multiple sports secure Division I scholarships, and brings that same hands-on advocacy to every player on the roster — finding the right athletic, academic, and cultural fit for each one.
