A sophomore catcher and utility player at Mineral Point, Austyn hit .563 across 31 games in 2026 with a .605 on-base percentage. She finished with 58 hits — 15 doubles and eight home runs — drove in 40 runs, and was a perfect 21-for-21 on stolen bases.
Line Drive Media named her a 2026 1st Team High School All-American catcher . She was also a Line Drive National High School Player of the Week runner-up, plus 1st Team All-District and 1st Team All-State. As a freshman she was 1st Team All-State, All-District, and All-Conference, helping Mineral Point reach the WIAA Division 4 state tournament for the second time in program history — she homered in the sectional final shutout of Waterloo that punched their ticket. Extra Inning Softball rates her a Top 25 Slugger and the No. 100 catcher nationally. She wears #44 for Stars National Walker.
